River search for missing Newport man Ben Caplan
Police have appealed for help in finding a Newport man who went missing after a night out with friends.
Ben Caplan, 30, who works for the South Wales Argus newspaper, was last seen at 23:00 GMT on Saturday at Boleros pub in Caerleon.
There were reports of someone going into the water at Caerleon Bridge around 22:45 GMT and a search of the River Usk took place on Sunday .
Gwent Police said anyone with information can call 101.
Mr Caplan is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, slight build with shoulder length straight brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark navy T-shirt and jeans and has tattoos on both arms as well as his back and chest.

Mr Caplan works for the South Wales Argus newspaper in Newport.
Editor Kevin Ward, urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.
“All of Ben’s friends and colleagues at the South Wales Argus are desperately worried about him and we have been doing all we can to help the search for him since he was reported missing,” he said.
